Lost and I can't be found

Talk about a total bummer!  I had to buy a new camera because my old one finally went kaput!  It still works but I can't see what I'm taking a picture of because the screen is just black.  So I bought another. It was hard to do, since you get use to the one you have and I had it for almost ten years.  Well I took it boatin with me this last weekend and was able to capture a ton of video footage and pictures of my kids and their friends.  My youngest even decided to try wakeboarding, but was unsuccessful at standing up.  He is almost there and I am confindent that he will next time.  Well, I didn't notice that I didn't have the camera until I got home and wanted to download the video and pictures.   It was nowhere to be found.  I texted the others who were there with me, hoping they saw where I had left it.  Still no luck.  I climbed under the cover and into the boat to look in all the small cubbies and still no camera.  I'm upset that I lost the footage of my kids.  Cameras can be replaced but not my pictures.  I'm sure I'm not the first or the last.  (June 23, 2013)
